Which college is better, LPU or GNDU to pursue computer science and engineering?

Always go for institute that along with good education provides high placement record.as far as these are concern,i have read a lot about Lovely Professional University-its ranking , assured placements ,recognization, tie-ups, infrastructure, scholarships etc.This university is having a tie-ups with more than 50+countries providing you an excellent exposure helping you achieving excellence in your discipline .if i would have been at your place,i would have opted this one only. good luck !

Dear Raghav, To the best of my knowledge and experience, LPU is the best university for the CSE programme. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students on the basis of their academics and extracurricular activities and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with upgrade which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. GNDU and LPU are good public and private universities in India with a good ranking in the education sector. Coming to the programmes offered, I am not much aware of the ECE programme at GNDU but being alumni of LPU I can say that both ECE and CSE are good at LPU with good placements. The highest package availed for CSE is 42 LPA. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The highest package offered for the ECE programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 5.1 LPA. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. In which students of EEE/ECE are placed. All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Repeating the last year's remarkable ranking, LPU has been ranked again by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 on 23rd place amongst Top Universities in India (Both Government & Private), which is due to consistent growth and remarkable education quality of LPU.

As I am an alumni of LPU, I believe I can answer your concern in an appropriate way. I am not degrading any other university but I want to tell you some great things about CSE dept. Of LPU. As per the latest NIRF rankings released by MHRD LPU is: 1. Among top 80 Universities in India 2. Among top 90 engineering colleges in India 3. Among top 50 business management schools in India 4. Among top 30 Indian pharmacy colleges CSE dept. Of LPU is having the highest number of students under a single dept. I had many friends from CSE and I used to SEE them wearing formal drees almost every day because their placement drives would happen every day in their final year. Most of the student get offers in their third year itself. The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements.
