In the era of cut-throat competition, now-a-days every institution is floating CSE and consider it as flagship course and claims that the institute is providing best but the bets gets converted into the worst when it comes to application part. As an education consultant, I have seen many institutes offering CSE but CSE offered by LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Just few days ago, NIRF has ranked LPU in top 80 among all private and government institutes. Not only this, Management institutions are in top 50, Pharmacy in top 30 and Engineering among top 100 institutions which shows the quality being delivered at the place. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. You can go for SJCIT. The factors which you can consider are:- Placements: Placements in SJCIT are good. Average of 60% of the students got placed in different companies in the last 4 years. The reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Oracle, Capgemini, etc visit our campus every year. In 2017, the campus placements were much reduced when compared to past 4 years. A separate HR department is looking for the placements, and a very well placement training is provided. Infrastructure: SJCIT probably has 7 departments where it has several infrastructure facilities. A well-built administration block, IT block, mechanical block, academic block, transportation section, auditorium, a new aeronautical block, sports and college library. Each block has very good drinking water, electricity and Wi-Fi facilities. SJCIT has a separate hostel for both boys and girls.

I am not quite aware of SJCIT, Bangalore for CSE but to my advice, one must go for Computer Science and Engineering as it has been one of the most lucrative and competitive course to study since its inception in Indian engineering colleges. Hi, In my opinion, LPU is the best. Even my brother did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and he is working in an MNC now. I have visited LPU several times during his 4-year journey. I will highlight some of the features. The staff is highly qualified and most of them are Ph. This. The faculty has in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and are supportive too. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends and is vetted by the company officials. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. SJCIT is more authentic and well established than CSE. So, comparatively, if you are getting SJCIT nearby your residence, then do go for it and prefer it over covering large distance to LPU from South India. Best of luck.
