If you want full exposure, I would suggest VIT. But, if you want more academic results, prefer Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. Placement vise, both are almost equal. But, according to NRCC list, VIT is at 16th Rank and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is at 20th. Best w

I get it so many Thapar lovers are here. Okay, I belong to VIT University, Vellore. Can't comment upon Thapar, I haven't had a chance to hear about this university. It is just my roommate from Patiala says that it is nothing like VIT. You can get the same level of exposure as they get in Thapar. I

Honestly, for BTech CSE I'd pick Thapar. It has a stronger engineering reputation, better placement opportunities and a stronger peer group overall. Chitkara is decent too, but if you have both options, I'd go with Thapar.
