Which college is better to join: LPU or DIT?

I have worked with many top universities in the country in 16 years of my career and observed that both are doing a very good job as per their strengths. But LPU is in a different league altogether due to sheer size of its operations. Some of the main features of Course delivery at LPU which cant be matched are: Course curriculum: It is any day the mainstay or back bone of any programme. The extensive research, industry consultations, feedback from existing employers of LPU students, foreign collaborators and distinguished faculty all over the world goes into developing the curriculum of LPU, and all this: Upgraded in very semester. This makes the LPU syllabi most advanced and industry oriented in all respects. Trainings : A large number of trainings in cutting edge technologies like SAP and other MOOCs are given as a part of programme to enable the students learn what others learn after the courses. For example the SAP modules which cost upwards of INR one lac are a part of curriculum free of cost. School of Professional Enhancement: This is one department which kicks in from the first semester for holistic development of the students to create ethical, virtuous, hardcore professionals out of the students within their student life. The skills inculcated into students here are soft skills, professional etiquette, personality development and various other professional values which help the students not only in placements but throughout their careers. Diversity: LPU attracts the students and faculty from all states of India and about 72 more countries. This huge diversity in peers and faculty helps the student learn about various cultures and one most important trait called TEAMWORK. Scholarships: The meritorious students who perform well in their 10 +2 board exams or in LPU NEST get lucrative scholarships upto 40% of the fee of course per semester. Placements : LPU has a vast network of companies coming in to campus for placements every year. Just last year about 27- companies visited the campus only for CSE grads. Some snapshots of activities: Even the IITs and NITs are appreciating campus wide facilities in terms of IT. Online access to research journals, leading company annual reports and business dissertations with design analysis for ERP. All this makes LPU a different force altogether to reckon with. The university is having a world-class infrastructure with modern amenities. 2. Labs are equipped with the latest, high-tech equipment. 3. Highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITS, Iims, and other reputed institutions in India and abroad. 4. Good placements ranging from 5 LPA to 42 LPA and proper placement guidance/ placement classes. 5. Scholarships for meritorious students. 6. Extra-curricular activities for the overall development of students' personalities. 7. Competitive curriculum upgraded regularly according to industry requirements. 8. I would take the name of Lovely Professional university because, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Following are the amenities which are available : 1. Another thing that I like about the university is that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon.
