    As per my knowledge, one of my friends studied in VIT and got placed for a package of 15k/M and now he is planning to do M.Tech from other college. I hope you understand.

    VIT has better placement records than LPU, VIT is well disciplined, has good hostels and very good infrastructure, but LPU is also well known institution, it is all about your hard work. If you work hard you will get job no matter from which college you have studied.
