VIT and SRM are good universities. Have heard good about them. However, I cant tell you much about their programs. I can suggest you a top ranking university - LPU for B Tech in ECE. Specialisation Offered in EEE: Power Electronics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, DSP, Robotics And Automation, VLSI, and many more which helps to do more research in their field. Research: All the faculty members really helpful for all aspects whether it is academics or any other. Many students have published research papers and patents in International Journal and Conferences. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. Both have good placement but in the case of infrastructure and facility, LPU is better than any other University. VIT and SRM both are good in terms of placement, but if you want to choose anyone then go for SRM as it is having a good academic exposure and nice teaching environment, else VIT will also be a good choice.
