    Hello,
I want to first introduce about the environment of both the colleges. Both the colleges have same placement scenario in CSE Branch. But In IEM, you have to wear school uniform. If you enter the campus, then you will not go back to your home until Your colleges premises is over. If you go for other Branches, prefer Heritage Institute Of Technology. If you want more details or compare the other colleges, click on the below link:

Heritage and IEM is both best as their position. You can take in any one of them. But, heritage is sometimes better then IEM in terms of placement.

In the case of Computer Science and Information Technology in Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, the main admission rules are according to WBJEE and JEE Main ranks. Although the official 2025 cutoffs are not yet announced, judging by the past year trends (2023-2024), in General category, the closing ranks are generally 3,500-4,300 in CSE and 5,000-5,800 in IT. In case of JEE Main, the ranks corresponding to CSE will be approximately, 4,000-5,000 and IT, 5,000-6,000 (All India ranks).
