A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself. In regards to the stream concentric study of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Lovely Professional University, it is undoubtedly a very good idea. The faculty at the CSE department of LPU is just as qualified as any of the popular universities and institutes of India that offer this discipline names I don't even need to say! It has produced perfectly efficient computer engineers in the past couple of years who have eventually landed salary packages as high as 42 LPA!
Over the past couple of years, the department has seen a rise in the number of students taking admission in the stream. Due to this, the competition between students within the department has increased, and this has indirectly improved the overall performances of the batch as a whole. Without mentioning unrealistic figures, I am going to say that the students graduating from the CSE branch at LPU get placed more often than any other department from the same university. I am not having any notion for JSS, AKGEC, ABES and KIET but yes I can share the particulars of LPU as I am the alumni of LPU over there. Many of my students have completed their CSE at LPU and got placed in eminent institutions. I believe for CSE, LPU would be the best option. Let me share with you some of the details as well as highlights :

For the CSE branch, JSS is the best college as this college has good tie-ups with many MNCs. So, they offer a very handsome package and therefore placements every time touches a new record, but yes, if you want to apply for the off-campus placements then you should opt for the ABES as this college is best in off campus placements.

In term of faculty - All colleges have same level of faculty because college hires teacher of other college so teachers move from one college to other.
In terms of infrastructure- ABES have invested a lot abes have swimming pool http://www.abes.ac.in/life-campus/swimming-pool-abes-ec , Air Conditioner Classrooms, labs, Stadium with flood light http://www.abes.ac.in/life-campus/stadium-abes-ec , AIR Conditioner auditorium etc. KIET, JSS both have avg infra while AKGEC have very bad infrastructure.
In terms of Placement - JSS have better placement. KIET, ABES, AKGEC all college are at same level major recruiters are TCS, Tech Mahindra.
