WHICH COLLEGE OR INSTITUTE SHOULD I PREFER FOR LEARNING ANIMATION AND VFX- NID, ARENA OR MAYA ACADEMY?

Hi, I can understand that these days whichever institute you visit tends to excite you with the infrastructure, placement commitments etc and the name you have written in your question are all branded institutes, but to be true if i have join any institute i would firstly check with the quality of the training and that could be checked only by meeting the faculties checking there experience, meeting the students personnelly and talking to them about the courses checking with what king of practical experience the institute is providing you with, by the end of the day whenever you would go for the interview firstly the company will check your demo reel and not the name of the institute, they will judge your knowledge and not the recognition that would come on the later stages. With this answer i am not saying that your don't have to see the recognition etc of the institute but just set your priorities and then decide. Dear Suryansh I think you shiould go for Arena, because arena will teach many softwares whereas maya will focus more and mainly on its own software only. Best of Luck Sushil Gupta

There is no such authentic list of institutes that i can give you. You could do well to create a list of places you may want to learn at, whether they are in your city or not. Then go to their websites and research about them, and even call them and talk to them. Try their website for more details. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their website. Now shortlist some you want to visit. Do not hesitate to travel - this is about your life and career. After visiting those take a decision for yourself. Do always look at the library of the institute as that would give you an insight into their vision. Even if you have to travel to timbuctoo or chandigarh for that matter, it is important for your life, so do it. Wish you the best for your career. Go for DSK supinfocom it's the best in india. placements in EA, Ubisoft, Microsoft Studios etc. Tough to clear the entrance though. Full practical, international exposure, best faculties.
