Well, CGC is a college and is affiliated to PTU But CU is a deemed University and over a short span of time has set its own standards. CU has become the youngest yet the fastest growing university in ASIA. In my opinion, The faculty at Chandigarh university, CU is better than CGC. The faculty here is well educated and qualified. CU should be a better choice looking at future markets. CGC Landran and CU Gharuan are both run by the same Chandigarh Educational Trust. CGC Landran is affiliated to PTU. With fixed scheme and academic policies. PTU does not offer any Foreign MOU. CU, Gharuan is a full fledged university with the same experience (in terms of time duration).
