which college should i choose among LPU and Chitkara in branch CSE?

As a LPU alumni, it might make you feel that I am supporting LPU but this actually a reality and fact that LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. LPU provides specialization also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. with a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 lakh per annum. As per the last year record of LPU, The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 lakh per annum. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class etc. and this is the part of the curriculum. Moreover, LPU gives different pathways also like if student want to do higher studies or join govt. sector so LPU prepare the student accordingly.

Hello! Dont just go by anyone's word, examine yourself and then decide. Though its going to be a tough task but atleast you will not regret and land up choosing better option. Also, not just focus on the accreditation part, focus on the efforts the university staff applies on their students to make them outstanding.Well, I am pursing Ph.D - Computer Science from Lovely Professional University, I keep on visiting the campus and is in regular with faculties. First parameter should be Curriculum: Since I am a LPU student, I am well worse with their curriculum, LPU follows updated syllabus and keeps on revising it as per the student and industry needs. Next important factor to be considered is Well equipped Labs, let me tell you honestly, this is my first reason to choose LPU for my research part, as they have well equipped labs with completely latest technology so you need to worry about your projects and research. Next factor to be counted upon is Placement, for you. Since the day I am attached with LPU, I found every now and then there are placement drives being conducted and students are being prepared day and night for the same.Next factor is Faculty involved, Most of the faculty at LPU are Ph.D and many of them are from renowned universities such as IIT, IIM and even abroad. My own Ph.D mentor is an alumnus of IIT Guwahati and holds few patents and has a list of research papers published by him. Now, regarding Internships, one of the important factor again for graduation student, As per my knowledge, Summer trainings, full-term optional / compulsory internships, On-the-job trainings, study tours, and skill enhancement events and workshops are extensively integrated in LPU curriculum. They expose students to real work environments and provide an opportunity to apply their learning in real life situations. So, if we conclude, LPU has an edge over others in all the terms. Choose Wisely.

Hi, The choice of an organization relies on the different factors, for example, the foundation of a college, educational plan, Placements, Accreditations, Infrastructure Facilities, the most important the knowledge and experience of the Faculty. Therefore, in my opinion, I would recommend LPU. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, data science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. If I talk about the placements, the preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 6-10 LPA. So, you should choose LPU for pursuing B.Tech (CSE). Thanks

Providing Quality education and quality placement is the responsibility and strength of every organisation but the fact is that it can't be provided by every university. Addressing your query specifically in regards to pursuing CSE from Chitkara University, I am not much aware what they are offering but I took overall feedback from the Alumni of CU where they showed a negative response in every aspect being its academic content, exposures and placements. Feedback was also taken from the students of LPU where they proudly highlighted that the Computer Science Engineering Programmes of LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The stress is laid on developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. It is worth mentioning that LPU offers department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, databases and information systems as well as computer programming and algorithms. In addition to this, students are exposed too the fields like cloud computing, IoT, data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data and many more. In terms of placements, more than 550 companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Hi Manish At LPU, we have industry-sponsored labs from Google, Oracle, SAP where we work on real life projects. This industry experience make cracking job interviews much easy. Industry oriented curriculum, unbeatable placement record, faculty from IIT, IIIT's and best infrastructure, all are the plus point of LPU. as per my opinion LPU will be a good choice. Good Luck!!

HI Manish, CSE is in great demand nowadays, All the Industries are seeking already learnt candidate. I would suggest you go for LPU Because one thing we should keep in mind before taking admission for any course is that the University we are choosing must provide us deep and practical knowledge of core subjects, must adapt for new technologies faster and the curriculum should be revised regularly to meet the company’s standard, the University’s environment. And then the placements also plays a very vital role in that. Keeping all these points in mind, I would say that LPU would be the best choice No doubt LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Certifications from industries, Hackathons and workshops, Guest lectures ,Regular educational trips , Real life live projects, Community projects etc. all are essential and integral part of the curriculum. Besides core curricula, you’ll also get subjects like communication, verbal, analytical skills and soft skills to improve personality and employability and be more productive. Also in today’s generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that’s why LPU offers their students to participate in lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you’ll be able to manage time for exploring other things.
