You should go for IIT BHU as it will give you a good branch.

We can't compare the two colleges which are very different from each other in many aspects. The admission process, fee, and academics. But giving it a try, IIT BHU is a very old institution and it has been offering the course since 1919, the department is well-established and reputed. Mechanical is a core branch, which also favors it. BITS has its own reputation, there is not much difference.
