Both the universities are good in their own place. But if you want to pursue engineering and computer Science engineering, then you should definitely opt for Chitkara University. The institution of Chitkara is the best for engineering programme and has all the facilities. A student may require to create a bright future for his or her life. You might be aware of the fact that Chitkara University has been recognised as the best for engineering programme in Punjab, apart from that the university has also been affiliated with Plus grade by Naac organisation and is UGC recognised institution. The students of engineering programme are often taken to field trip so they may know how the actual working environment feels like and what skills they need to adapt to work under the same. Now may I talk about the placement of Chitkara University which is phenomenal. Companies like Samsung, Infosys, Wipro, Microsoft, Google, etc. Visit the campus of Chitkara to provide placements to the graduates of computer Science engineering. Where an institution is so good, there are few rules and restrictions that should be followed so it may function in a proper and systematic way. Just like that Chitkara also has few rules which are mandatory to follow and may sound a bit strict to you but at the end of the day they Are for students own benefit. Maintaining a minimum percentage of attendance and uniform can be considered under the rule book of Chitkara University.

Chandigarh University would be the best choice between these two for a B.E. In CSE. The University offers CSE with specialization in the Internet of Things, Mobile Computing, and Open Source and Open Standard.
