Which college should I choose to pursue BE in mechanical engineering in India?

I have scored 69.99 percentile in JEE Mains January attempt. I belong to the SC category. I am expecting 82% in class 12th and 74+ percentile in April attempt. I can't afford a very hefty fee.

    Hello Saurabh,
You have attempted JEE Mains examination conducted by the national testing agency and then you are asking the query as to which is the college that is good for mechanical engineering. I think what you are asking is which NIT is better because after giving JEE Mains examination aim is always to seek admission in one of the NIT. Right? I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about rankings of NIT in the country based on which you can decide to seek admission. https://www-shiksha-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.shiksha.com/b-tech/articles/amp/nits-in-india-blogId-20003?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&usqp
