Which college should I go for as the first step for B.Tech and why?

Your first aim should be BITS, Pilani beacuse it is one of the most prestigious institutions in India and the placements are more than excellent and it does not have any reservations. Secondly, you could aim for the IITs because of obvious reasons. Apart from that, you can go for Jadhavpur University through wbjee because it's CSE branch is considered to be equivalent to prestigious IITs. Coming to private colleges, you can go for the top 5 colleges of Comed-K or the Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal.
