DIT provides a deep theoretical and practical knowledge of Micro biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry etc. That are all included in Biotechnology. Students get we nurtured because they will be provided a deep knowledge by help of PowerPoint Presentations and through Experimental work done by our own hands. They focus on correlation of concepts with the scientific happenings for deep rooted concept building to harness the research potential in the upcoming streams of Biotechnology. Their strength is Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum. LPU should be a better option for joining rather than DIT. Reasons are the best infrastructure, global exposure, hi-tech facilities, huge campus, good placements, etc. So it is highly recommended to go for LPU.

Being alumni of LPU, I would be able to share the details of LPU only with you. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, zoology, etc. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. To answer your question I would give you very simple reason that makes me firmly believe in LPU as always a better university. I am an alumnae of LPU and had witnessed the overall system of education in there. The reason I say LPU is the BEST because in the process of Engineering the university also worked on my overall development. Whatever I am today is because of the training and learning I had it from there. The complete system of the university is as per the corporate model. Starting right from the conduction of classes, time management and ums, deadlines and assignment submissions, club activities, student engagement programs, hackathons and competitions. It all boosted our overall development. LPU lays focus on Research & Development, Industrial Tie-Ups, Live Projects, International Exposure, Start ups, Placements and definitely overall development. Specifically in this competitive world today one needs to explore avenues in all spades. Considering these facts I found one university that strongly stands out and found pretty promising ie Lovely Professional University. Popularly known as LPU. LPU campus is a complete world in itself having more than 30000 students from 28 states of India and 3000 foreign students from more than 50 countries of the world. There is cultural diversity, mixture of emotions and this is the reason everyone tends to learn and understand each other culture and tradition prevailing in the society. Though both the colleges are good but being an alumni of LPU let me explain the things in detail. LPU is good in terms of Placements, Infrastructure, and faculty members. The campus has students all over states and 40+ countries of the world. It has 145+ programs in 55+ disciplines,150+ tie-ups with foreign universities,30k+ students, and 1400+ global and Indian super brands for placement. There are multiple facilities within the campus like university Mall, university Hospital, Food courts or kiosks, Bank ATMs, residential facilities, food facilities, and Transport facilities. The elegance and the brightness of the campus even become more lively during events, concerts, coke studio performances, One India, and One World Fests. There are multiple student organizations that give an excellent opportunity to students to hone and sharpen their skills. The University also has a robust division of career services along with faculty and staff of parent-school to provide eligible students with job opportunities. LPU has been the university that has outperformed most of its competition. Be it academics, sports or cultural activities, the university boasts a number of accolades to prove its credibility. This is one of the reasons that contribute to making it one of the fastest-growing universities in India. Students here are groomed to be better-skilled individuals than merely engineering students (or any subject student for that matter). The University offers more than 200 programmes in Management, Hotel Management, Computer Application, Engineering, Architecture, Design, Commerce, Fashion Technology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Education, Physical Education, Films, Animation, Fine Arts, etc. If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives. 5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus. 6) You will get an online system I. e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. 7) Security measures for girls - If your a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then you'll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers upto 07:30 probably. I have worked with many top universities in the country in 16 years of my career and observed that both are doing a very good job as per their strengths. But LPU is in a different league altogether due to sheer size of its operations. Some of the main features of Course delivery at LPU which cant be matched are: Course curriculum: It is any day the mainstay or back bone of any programme. The extensive research, industry consultations, feedback from existing employers of LPU students, foreign collaborators and distinguished faculty all over the world goes into developing the curriculum of LPU, and all this: Upgraded in very semester. This makes the LPU syllabi most advanced and industry oriented in all respects. Trainings : A large number of trainings in cutting edge technologies like SAP and other MOOCs are given as a part of programme to enable the students learn what others learn after the courses. For example the SAP modules which cost upwards of INR one lac are a part of curriculum free of cost. School of Professional Enhancement: This is one department which kicks in from the first semester for holistic development of the students to create ethical, virtuous, hardcore professionals out of the students within their student life. The skills inculcated into students here are soft skills, professional etiquette, personality development and various other professional values which help the students not only in placements but throughout their careers.
