Dear Suman, LPU, SRM, and KIIT are good private universities. In my opinion, you should join LPU as you have got a maximum scholarship. There is very little chance to get a good scholarship at LPU as the competition is very high there. Being alumni of LPU, let me share a few details of LPU with you LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus having 30000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come across the world which makes you feel like you are in a foreign country. LPU offers more than 200+ programmes every year in different fields including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, zoology, etc. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. Being an alumni I would like to answer this. I want to say that LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). Definitely you should. No doubts about this. One of my colleagues was also doubtful and then decided to join LPU and found that LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements. Just wanted to highlight, this year LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI. The University possesses assets in terms of academics and other extra-curricular activities. The staff which is deputed to teach and guide is experienced one and is meeting the norms of UGC. The pedagogy which is undertaken to teach students is always updated with new initiatives like flip classroom, more discussions etc. This is a place where a student develops confidence and takes initiatives, develops entrepreneurial abilities and learn to survive in challenging conditions. The connect between the students and faculty is marvellous as personal mentors are allotted to every faculty which I can be sure no other institute is providing. LPU has created its Division of Safety and Security which provides the safety and security to all the students, staff and faculty of LPU. The example of security starts the moment you enter the gates of University. If you are pedestrian and day scholar then you will be scanned and your IDcard will also be scanned before you enter the university. If you are coming by a vehicle then you have to attach RFID which is connected to boom barriers and you can only enter when your RFID gets scanned means no external entity can enter without ID card or RFID. If any visitor wants to visit LPU then he/she has to get Visitor pass before entering. The moment you enter University, you will find security staff is deputed at various places to assist everybody may be a student or staff which is actually missing at most of the places. Particularly mentioning the hostels, there is full proof security provided to students. Pertinent to add here, if a student is taking late night studies in libraries, security staff will escort you to the hostel at late hours.
