Which college should my son choose to pursue B.Tech, BITS, VIT or SRM? Do we need to block seats in all the three colleges?

Should I cancel the seats as counselling progresses?

    LPU is better than any other University. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements, etc. LPU is the best engineering college in India.     I would suggest that your son choose BITS as this college is better than many IITs and also this college has gained 4th rank in the annual survey of all the Indian colleges including all the IITs and NITs.
  • Sir, the best one among the three is BITS-Pilani because it is the best after IITs in terms of exposure, placements and rankings.
    But there is no need to block the seats because all those three universities admit the students based on the scores in their respective entrance exams. The overall ranks and the no. of seats determine their admissions.
    The entrance exam for BITS is a tough one when compared to VIT and SRM as these two don't have negative marking, as well as the questions, are also a little easier, whereas, BITSAT has negative marking and the questions are also tough and we have to race against time.
