Which college to prefer for PGDM: International Institute of Management Studies or Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) and why?

International Institute of Management Studies and Pune Institute of Business Management are equally good institutes. PIMB is better ranked than IIMS. Some of the important points while selecting an institute - Accreditation of the institute, institute's infrastructure, teaching faculty, specialization offered, past placements records., tuition fees, city preference, and industry interface. As both, the institutes are having the campus in Pune. Industry exposure is good for students in either of the college. If possible a visit to college is better option to get a reality check. Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) is a better choice. It is the most result oriented B school.Their staff's teaching qualities are amazing and visiting faculties are from all industry domains. They not only focus on academics but extra curricular activities and hobbies are nurtured. 100% placement is guaranteed for marketing students. The average package goes to 5 lac per annum. Top companies like- Marico, Dabur, ITC, Tata Housing, Wipro recruit from PIBM. The best part is the internship program is students can choose their industry for winter and summer internships. Hi, I am not sure of other colleges, but PIBM is a very good college. It has a unique training methodology and focuses more on the practical way of learning. The curriculum at PIBM gets updated regularly and as per the latest industry trends. Apart from this, PIBM students are given corporate exposure through Live business projects, Industrial Visits, Dual Internships, Case studies, Corporate Interactions sessions. For final placements Corporate heads conduct Mock GD/PIs, resulting in perfect preparation for PIBM students.

PIBM Pune is a better option for PGDM. PGDM is approved by AICTE and courses are designed by the college. More than 300+ top companies are coming to the campus for hiring students with some excellent profiles. Industry expert faculty members train the students as per corporate demand. IIMS is one of the renowned universities for MBA education. They have a brilliant arrangement cell with qualified staffs. They have 800+ recruiters in programming, non-IT and specialized verticals. The normal compensation is Rs 7 lakhs per annum and most noteworthy in the past was Rs 12.5 lakhs per annum. The college has a great deal of universal and country resources who direct the students in vocation advancement. These grounds hold coordinate tie-up for an arrangement with some notable and well known multinational organizations like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, EMC2, BERGER, KOTAK, TVS, MRF, etc. Sectorwise placement is as follows:- 1) IT and ITES - 36% placed, 2) BSIF - 30% placed, 3) Consulting - 13% placed, 4) Manufacturing - 10% placed PIBM has very less track record as compared to IIMS.The package is very less approximately 3.5 lakhs to 11 lakhs.
