The best colleges for B.Tech in Mechanical engineering are: All Older IITS Most Older NITS BITs NITIE PEC Thapar SRM VIT LPU All of them have their own standing due to solid track record in almost all the parameters that you can think off. All the best DVD.

There are a lot of engineering college in India apart from all IITs and NITs. You can opt for state level engineering colleges. In case of private engineering college, You can opt for: VIT Vellore MIT Pune SRM Galgotia
