Which college with what branch can I expect with an IMU rank of 2462 (OBC NCL category)?

It seems from your rank that you were in waiting list if you are taking admission you should opt for IMU Kolkata otherwise the colleges are not so good. IMU Kolkata being the government college will be fine otherwise you should go for private college like Tolani but before making any decision, gather some information about colleges and their placements. In my opinion, you must visit the college once and take a view of the scenario there.

Go for B.Tech in marine engineering from IMU Kolkata. It's so far the best institute till date. If interested in deck side and in a government college, then you should go for TS Chanakya. Otherwise go for sponsorship or colleges like Tolani, etc. if affordable. But don't go anywhere else from the above-mentioned institutes, otherwise, you will be a life-long sufferer.

You have a greater chance of getting IMU, Kolkata with marine engineering.
