    Dear Priyanshu,
CSE is not an ordinary program. It is highly resource intensive, dynamic and difficult program to run for the curators. You never know when some technology gets obsolete! The curators need to be equally dynamic as the industry is. It needs unflinching focus to run the program according to industry.
Very few universities have been able to recognize this dynamism and perfect the curriculum and its delivery for producing the well rounded professionals.
LPU has excelled in almost every parameter possible in field of education, even more so in case of CSE as it is the flagship program of university.

As an education consultant, I am keen to know what is offered in various institutes. Both the institutes are performing good but when it comes to B.Tech CSE, I find LPU as the right place because the curriculum have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs. LPU helps in developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students which are considered to be an important. Keeping in view the employment potential, in-depth knowledge is provided to the students through department electives in computer networks, artificial intelligence, database

Comparisons are must before taking step in any college or university for education. Both options are doing good even I faced lot of confusion in selection of college at the time of my graduation. After long comparison I felt good for LPU. Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
