Which colleges can I get with 50 marks in JEE Mains and 45 OBC category cutoff? Do I have any chance to get an NIT or a similar college?

    Dear Tilak,
    With these marks, it will get somewhat difficult for you to get some good government college like NIT. Instead of settling down for some mediocre government college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech degree with various specializations. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both.     There is little or no hope for getting an NIT with these marks. Moreover, try for private universities and autonomous colleges at this time. Also, try giving some state government competitive exams as soon as possible.

    No, you cannot get any of NIT. You can get any other private engineering college or government. College. Search out for the best private colleges as per the location you want. There are some good colleges like:
