Which colleges should I opt to pursue mechanical engineering, my score in JEE Mains is 85?
I am expecting 85 percent marks in my class 12th.

In order to predict engineering colleges, you can get on the basis of your JEE Rank. Use Shiksha JEE College Predictor:

Since you haven't scored well in JEE mains so you will not get admission in top Government institutes but dont worry there are some private institutions that are doing equally good as them,you may get admission in them by scoring a good rank in their entrance examination and thereafter getting high
