    I won't say that there is a lead or a lag scenario here. Both these combinations have their own prospects and challenges. There are good market opportunities available in both of these. One should not view it as a profit and loss statement. STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, and Management) are always considered hot field for recruiters and market It all boils down to what the candidate aspires for.     B.TECH + MBA have better scope as compared to B.Tech +M.Tech. The scope of this technology plus management education is very vast. The campus and university which offer MBA after your B.Tech matters a lot in your career. So, try to get a good college like Christ, Amity, AIMS, Jagan, etc. Majority of the companies look for students with excellent technical knowledge and managerial skills. The salary package for them is also high.
