You are eligible for following competitive exams after B.Tech Mechanical Engineering:
(a) GATE for job in PSU
(b) Indian Engineering Services Examination conducted by UPSC.
(c) Indian Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC to join as IAS, IPS, IFS etc. You can also appear for other Class I jobs where eligibilty is graduation degree.
(d) CDS examination conducted by UPSC to join Indian Armed Forces as Commissioned Officer.
(e) Asst Commandent exam conducted by UPSC to join Paramilitary forces.
(f) PSC examination conducted by state services commission.
(g) Probationary Officer Examination conducted by public sector banks to join as PO.
