Mathematics and computer science both are basically different streams. One thing common in these is that computer science technology uses mathematical and logical units for the computations and operations to operate the computer. In programming, the mathematical concepts are used heavily for the operations. This is how we can compare maths and CS engineering.

There is nothing like mathematics in Engineering. Mathematics scope was limited to 12th class. Here, you will and you should learn aptitude as well as build and create logics. This will surely help you.
