Which country is better for pursuing MS in computer science between USA or UK? How are the job opportunities if I do MS from UK?

I came to know that the duration of MS in UK is of 1 year. How is it so? How to get the PR of this country?

MS in comp. science is best in USA as it all the "big data" happens there. The silicon valley offers great opportunities for start ups nd innovation.
