As you are interested in pursuing your bachelors in mechanical engineering, as a friend would suggest you to think about the decision again as pursuing a Bachelors degree from Germany will not be advisable as you have to go for a 1- 1 and a half year bridging course or have to clear IITJEE or have to clear the university entrance exam.
