After B.Com in economics, you can look for MBA in finance or socio-economics related courses. One option you can look for is MBA from TISS, prepare for TISS-NET. Another option is that you can look for banking exams like SBI PO and IBPS.

To get jobs you need to look for a slightly different sector like banking/finance and insurance. You need to look for openings in banks, IT companies, NGOs. I would suggest preparing for banking exam- target IBPS-PO exam.
