Company Secretary acts as the mediator between the company and its Board of Directors, government, shareholders and regulatory authorities. The responsibilities of a CS are to ensure that the Board procedures are strictly followed and regularly revised; to guide the Chairman and the Directors on how to make the best use of their responsibilities under various laws. Opportunities for Cost Accountants are in the Private Corporate Sector, public sector to advise the government in cost pricing and in framing the appropriate fiscal and tax policies. A CFA is trained in financial/investment management and management accounting.
