To become a CE, one needs more of softer skills than pure technical competence. Its is more to do with ones personality traits and his being able to excel some of the following traits:
1. Resilient
2. Ability to learn from the past mistakes
3. Good communication & interpersonal skills
4. Listening

I think more than these, the companies look for your creativity and management skills. So rather than focusing on course you should enhance your knowledge and other soft skills. As such you can go for any of them. There is no explicit criteria of eligibility to become a CEO.
