    Both are similar degree with only nomenclature difference. Both degrees have same scope. As its a huge industry, there are great employment opportunities in Private National and Multinational companies, PSU etc. Demanded in both India and abroad. You can search jobs in ISRO, DRDO, BEL, PO, SSC IES, IAS IRS, BSNL JTO. After completing your B.Tech, Jobs can be searched in companies such as: CISCO, ORACLE, TOSHIBA, TATA, PHILLIPS, Texas Instruments, Intel, AMD, IBM, Samsung Electronics, Sony, Nokia, Nvidia, HP, LG Electronics, BHEL, ECIL, NTPC, Wipro, HCL, ISRO, SYNTEL, SIEMENS, BEL, ESSAR GODREJ & BOYCE, MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA, ONGC.     Both BE ECE and B.Tech ECE are similar degree with only nomenclature difference. They have same scope and opportunities. You must evaluate ranking of engineering college not branch name while seeking admission.
