Which course has a better scope in India, B.Tech in biotechnology or agriculture engineering?

According to current condition, agriculture engineering is the best in India.

Both are similar, but B.Tech in agriculture is better.

Recruitment-wise agriculture is better. Agricultural scientist recruitments, state government etc. UPPSC advertises for B.Sc. agriculture passouts throughout the year, though vacancies are low in number. B.Tech Biotech will bring you no government job, very less employability in private sector too.

Both the branches are quite good and trending these days, and will have a good number of opportunities in the coming future. For biotechnology, it will take some time but is good and you can go with that.

Both are very specialised fields and have narrow but solid scope. It also depends on what you want to do after graduating. If you want to start working immediately then Agriculture is better. However, if you can and want to study further then go for Biotechnology and plan for doing Masters from Indi

Hello Anil, Both the course are best for career, but if you are talking about our country than agriculture is best. B.Tech will be more beneficial in India than biotechnology. But, biotechnology is also a good option.

With the current status of the country, you should definitely opt for biotechnology. It will serve dual purpose.
