Both are the good courses in terms of scope. But CA is better and career oriented as compared MBA.
    Career options after MBA,
-->You have to first decide which stream you would like to have a job in.
-->You have done courses in both commerce and IT.
-->For either of them you need to have the required conceptual knowledge.
-->If you plan to be in the IT field then probably you need to do some programming courses too like from NIIT or APTECH.
-->Make sure you well prepared for the tests and the interview round.

In my opinion, an MBA definitely has more scope than a CA due to the following reason:
Most of the IIMS and other good B schools prepare you for general management. They teach you the basic skills needed for each kind of management role, and then you are allowed to specialize in your desired stream later. This gives you a much broader exposure, while a CA restricts you more or less to an accounting role.

All course are better, if you are in good financial position and depends on your area of interest and skills you gain after completion of graduation. Both courses have wider scope. CA is competitive and tough exams. You have to burn midnight oil and give much commitment to achieve good prospects in that field. For MBA, there are many specialization.

MBA is a good course if you choose to work in financial management. CA offers better salary and profiles. I would also recommend joining CFA.

    Hi,
I prefer CA/CS is a professional course, and MBA is just a PG. MBA is degrading due to excessive entry of candidates. Instead, if you choose professional courses, like CPA, ACCA, FCA, CPA and CIMA, then you might get exemptions in clearing papers. It adds more knowledge to your career and adds value to your profile.

CA has wider scope and respect granted for technical and knowledge oriented finance jobs. MBA in finance on the other hand gives the highest ROI in investment and advisory field.
