Which course has better career prospects: MBA or M.Pharm?

Hi Ayush, I think, an MBA in Healthcare Administration might just be the best option for you. This way, you will able to do an MBA in a field that you are well-acquainted with and you will not have to choose between the two. Considering you are already a graduate, I'm assuming you are looking for admission in the current session. Admissions are still open in Indian Institute of Learning and Advanced Development (INLEAD), Gurgaon. They have an excellent, well-structured Healthcare program in place which trains young graduates to become a useful asset to the healthcare Industry. Hi Ayush, M.Pharm is a great career option if you are interested to continue your career in Pharmacy, but if you are keen to change your career path from the technical field of your prior education to management then you should opt for MBA in this field. M.Pharm will provide you opportunities in field related to teaching, research, medicine, Biotech and many more. MBA will offer you the knowledge required to understand the business perspective of any pharmacy company. But, salary will be more elevated if you further pursue Masters degree either MBA/MPharm. Besides you can open a medical shop or a chemists shop,become a chemist,can also be a chemistry professor or a lab assistant or a laboratory expert,can do lots of experiments if u are interested in this field ,can become a medical representative/transcriptionist. After BPharm, you can get jobs in private as well as government sectors. In case of government sectors, you can get job as:- - pharmacist in hospitals - Technician in college - Research Analyst - Drug squad in police department In case of private sectors, you can get as:- - Pharmacist selling medicines - Pharma &amp; Biotech companies - Pharmacist Consultants - Food &amp; Drug Industry Salary of BPharm approximately ranges as Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 3,00,000/- per annum as fresher. As according to ur interest it is advisable that u can change ur career, MBA will be good option for u on the basis of ur interest. MBA is a career oriented course and u are having option to do ur own business. There are certain specializations like HR, Finance, IT, Marketing etc. On the basis of ur rank u will be elegible for getting admission in certain top level colleges/institutes. Otherwise there are certain other colleges also which provide better education and placement services to the meritorious students. Some of the best colleges are:- 1.
