    According to my understanding, B.Tech CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) is often better positioned for placements at Dr. Subhash University. This is due to the fact that CSE is a more popular branch in the sector, hence most firms will first think of hiring graduates from that field.

     

    On the flip side, B.Tech IT (Information Technology) also presents good placement prospects but are specifically based with organizations dealing on software development, data analytics and IT services. Nevertheless, the demand of CSE graduates is generally higher hence they end up obtaining jobs in the leading companies such as Google; Microsoft

    According to March 2023 report, B.Tech in IT at Dr. Subhash University (DSU) had better placements than B.Tech CSE in 2023: 

    B.Tech in IT

    • In 2023, 90–95% of students were placed, with the highest salary package offered at INR 25 LPA and the average at INR 13 LPA. 

    B.Tech CSE

    • In 2023, the average salary package offered was INR 2.50 LPA and the highest was INR 11 LPA. In 2022, the average salary package was INR 2.50 LPA, the median was INR 3.60 LPA, and 82% of the batch was placed.
