Yes, BCA has better scope in government and private sectors.

Hi, If the word scope means job opportunity immediately after completing graduation in the respective fields as you mentioned, so BCA has more job potential. BCA is a professional degree and IT industry prefers professionals.

BCA is better than B.Sc. In computer Science, as it has good scope and it is also efficient in providing you with enough knowledge about the computers and their applications and also about the software field and their uses.

BCA is the better option than B.Sc. IT and if you pursue MCA after that then it will surely boost your career and give you a better chance of getting a good job. Because BCA comparatively has high scope.

If you are from a Science background, and want your career in computer Science, please do B.Tech CS instead of B.Sc. Hons. CS. There is no value of B.Sc. Hons CS. Eventually you will have to do M.Sc.
