There are ample job opportunities after both the programs. You must first check your interests, aptitude, hobbies, attitude, bent of mind and ASPIRATIONS before taking a plunge into any of these. M.Tech will lead you to deeper study and research in your core field of engineering. The career following M.Tech will be more oriented towards teaching, research and consulting. MBA will lead you to gaining management skills in whichever specialisation you do. The career following MBA will be more towards techno-management roles, more into corporate and entrepreneurship. So it is your choice!
But whatever you decide, pursue only from universiti

While both career options are stable and rewarding, current trends indicate that students prefer MBA over M.Tech. For several B.Tech graduates planning to pursue higher education, it is primarily a choice between Master of business administration (MBA) and Master of technology (M.Tech) programmes. Both the programs have their own importance and career opportunities. It depends upon your area of interest and your career goals. Doing MBA or M.Tech is totally upon your interest. Both are equally good in their own terms. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Assuming you have done your B.Tech as M.Tech is mentioned in the quest

Hi Dear, It totally depends on you if you want to be a little managerial as well as a little technical then you can go for MBA, as doing MBA would provide you with a plethora of opportunities ahead. So, it totally depends on how you want your life ahead. So it is your choice!
But whatever you decide, pursue only from universities of high repute like SNU, PU, IIT's, SIBM, VIT, BITs, SRM and LPU etc. Hope this helps.

Dear Venkatesh, First and foremost, you have to understand that there is no point comparing M.Tech and MBAcourses. Both are specialised degrees and have value in their respective grounds. Both M.Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance over the time. M.Tech or MBA is always an additional advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of experience, knowledge or seniority. Whether it be an IT, manufacturing, or R&D driven establishment, there would be requirements for both M. Techs and MBAs. The M. Techs would be more of a subject matter specialist, whereas the MBAs would handle product sales and marketi
