Which course has more opportunities in NZ: highway engineering or quantity surveying? I'm a quantity surveying Diploma holder.

The highway engineer in NZ is also called a Roading Engineer. Now, Highway or roads is also one of the ever growing area along with other areas of Civil Engineers. Similarly, QS are also in great demand ( you can check in the latest skill shortage list). So, both streams are good.

Few years back, New Zealand was indeed seeking immigrants to its work requirement. The country is small in size, and hence the political fraternity does not want immigration in all the fields.
