B.Tech in ME is an engineering course which in terms have more scope than BCA. In order, to get a job in some of the top IT companies, BCA is not enough. You need to go for MCA after completing BCA to get a job in big IT companies. MCA is also considered equivalent to B.Tech in CSE.

B.Tech ME is an engineering degree whereas BCA is professional degre course. . With BCA degree you can get entry level jobs in IT. For good IT job you will have to MCA to become equivalent to an engineering degree. B.Tech ME has wider scope and better job opportunities in comparison to BCA.

B.Tech has more scope, unless you have some other plans about your career.
