Which course has the better scope, ophthalmic technology or B.Sc in medical?

B.Sc Ophthalmic Technology course deals with medical specialty which diagnose and treats the diseases and disorders of eye by using modern technologies. The course trains students in areas such as examining patients, basic treatment of vision problems, work on eye testing and other ophthalmic equipment, monitoring patients, prescribing and dispensing spectacles and contact lenses and optometry practices. The eligibility criteria is 12th with PCB. The course offers good opportunities in multinational organizations dealing with products as professional services executives. They can take the job of an assistant with optician showrooms, eye doctors, contact lens and ophthalmic lens industries and hospital lens eyes department etc. B.Sc. In Medical is a 3 years duration course that is designed for those who willing to make a career in medical field. Graduates can get placed in medical universities, hospitals and conduct an array of lab experiments. Medical Science students learn about the following topics: Graduates may enter a diverse range of career fields like clinical medicine, academic research, pharmaceuticals and consulting roles. To further hone their skills in medical studies, they may go on to study further at post graduate level. After this PG degree, they may get placed in reputed research institutes of India and abroad. B.Sc Medical is my choice.
