Which course in engineering will be helpful to join Indian army after engineering?

Mechanical, Civil, electronics and Electrical departments are most preferred in Indian army for recruitment as SSC officers.

As you are concerned with the branch, all branches are helpful for that. Indian army recruits all of them, but majority of EC and CS branch is considered.

Any course will help, but to be specific opt for core branches such as mechanical, electrical, civil, computer etc.
