    It s very difficult to identify which course is best for making into IAS list of Civil Services. You are advised to chose subjects based on your interest and past performance( Subjects in which you are sure to achieve acedmics excellance).

    You may take upsc exams from almost 60 subjects so first you need to assess your own strengths and weaknesses. People do it with engg, medical, economics, anthropology etc as per their expertise. Check here for all the levels and subject details.
