Which course is best to pursue, information technology or computer science?

I opted for PCM with IT in my intermediate.

Computer Science is more acceptable than IT. However, there might not be a difference but specialized learning in programming happens more in computer science. Placement is more in CA because companies are narrow minded.

Jobs in IT sector are found to follow the whims and fancies of recession process, but let's hope for the better. B.Tech in computer science is more of a computer hardware and systems-oriented course.
