BDS (Bachelors of Dental Science):
Those who want to make a career in this profession can purse BDS (Bachelor in Dental Science) or MDS (Master in Dental Science) in specialization areas like Orthodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Prosthodontics, Cosmetic dentists, etc.
Eligibility:
For BDS, eligibility for the entrance is Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the 12th class with minimum 50% marks and for MDS, you must have completed BDS.

Salary:
In government hospitals, freshly trained dentists could begin around Rs 6,000 a month (including allowances), while in private hospitals it could be from Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,000.

BPT (Bachelor in Physiotherapy):
Physical therapists (physiotherapists) are health care professionals who restore mobility, alleviate pain and suffering and work to prevent permanent disability in patients.
Eligibility:
For Bachelor's programme, you should have completed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
Career prospects:
Physiotherapists work in orthopaedic centres, hospitals (civil/defense), schools for the handicapped, rehabilitation centers and in private and government hospitals and clinics.
Freshers begin with a stipend of approximately Rs 5000 - Rs 7000.
Though eligibility criteria may differ in various institutes as each institutes have their own policy and procedure for admission to various programs. As various institutes conduct their own entrance examination as a gateway for admission.
