Which course is better among AME and aeronautical engineering?

Hello Prajwal, AME presently has very good opportunities since Indian sector is expanding at almost 15%. More aircraft means more AME's. On the other hand, aeronautical engineering is a different cup of tea. Even though opportunities in core areas in India are limited, one can satisfy the thirst of knowledge in this course.

I think, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is better than Aeronautical Engineering. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering A.M.E. Is the four year license programme in which two year academic and two year training. This is a licensed course and it is regulated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), government. Of India. This licensed is valid internationally. The work of an A.M.E. Is related to safety, security and maintenance of an aircraft. To repair an aircraft in the technical level approximately. 50 A.M.E. Is required. As we know India is the fastest growing aviation market in the world and purchases many new aircraft which increases the demand of many new Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. A.M.E. Is also authorized to issue the Flight Releasing Certificate (FRC). Without the sign of an A.M.E. No flight can take off from the ground and the safety of the aircraft on ground is in the hand of an A.M.E. In short Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is the backbone of the aviation sector. The scope of A.M.E. Is good in India as well as in Foreign airlines.
