Which course is better among B.Sc (computer science) and B.Tech (CSE) in terms of skills, knowledge and job opportunities?

Hi,
It is better to go for B.Tech instead of B.Sc. CS because of following reasons:
1. In B.Tech CS you will study core subjects which forms the basis of computer Science. So if you want to be scientist it is better to study subject from basics.
2. B.Tech CS is practical oriented course while B.Sc. CS is theory oriented course. Now if you want to be scientist it would better if you are perfect in practicals.
3. B.Tech CS will give you more opportunities as it has everything to study from basics to the latest technologies and developments. At last decision will be yours but you have to take it carefully by thinking from every point of vie...more -
B.Sc. Computer Science is 3 years of Graduation course while B.Tech is 4 years of Graduation course after which you will get Engineer's Degree. Benefits of B.Sc. Computer Science:
If you have some social responsibility (like financial issue, family need or relocation issue) and you would like to finish your graduation as early as possible then you may select B.Sc. As it will be completed in 3 years instead of 4 years in case of B.Tech. Also course contents and syllabus level is somewhat easier than that of B.Tech, so you may spare some good amount of time for other responsibilities or commitments. There are many opportunities after B.Tech in Computer Science. Dear Kalyan, Every organisation or company requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to come.
