B.Sc is always better than B.Tech. In B.Sc, you get a better knowledge for research.

B.Sc is always better since you learn a lot. The jobs you get with B.Sc are in the field of research, mostly, besides teaching. Engineering, however, will leave you with a very low paying IT job.

India has surplus engineers and most are not employable. This leads to large scale unemployment of Engineering grads or thier underemployment. Therefore, If you have scientific and research temperament B.Sc Hons Physics-M.Sc is a better option in comparison to graduation degree in engineering.
