Which course is better among BA in political science, economics, journalism and sociology in terms of decent salary packages?

It depends on your interest and also what you want to be in your life. Being a political Science student I would say that scope is very limited in political Science, there is not much options available after graduation but if you do eco hons. Then there are many options from which you can choose what is best for you. Also economics hons. Is tough than political Science. -
There is nothing like good or better. It depends that what is your interest? Every subject has its own field and own perspectives. So, it is you who needs to introspect and find your own likings. You can choose a subject in which you feel that you have interest.
